Maintenance



The steam traps DK 47 and DK 57 do not require any special maintenance. However, if

used in new installations which have never been rinsed it may be necessary to clean

the strainer E of the DK 47.

1. Observe safety notes on page 2.

2. Isolate the trap from pressure, allow trap to cool to ambient temperature and

pressure. Unscrew sealing plug F.

3. Remove and clean strainer E.

4. Replace strainer E.

5. Apply heat-resistant lubricant (e. g. WINIX

2150) to seating surfaces and threads.

6. Screw in sealing plug F and tighten with a torque of 150 Nm.
